Digital Painting
Digital painting is often compared to traditional painting. It uses the same basic notions of art as any other traditional discipline: perspective, composition, colour, light, anatomy and, of course, the originality and artistic sensitivity of the Artist.
On the contrary, digital tools allow us to diversify and sometimes simplify the creation process. With our three tools (computer, software and graphics tablet), everything is at your fingertips. No material is missing: a flat brush, a round brush, pastels, a pencil, a charcoal or anything else. With a few clicks, the pen reproduces the strokes made on the screen, varying according to the pressure of the pen, its angle, the shape of the brush chosen...
The same goes for the colours, they are all present in the colour wheel. There is no need to wait for the paint to dry on the canvas, or on the contrary, to hurry before the watercolour water disappears. The Artist can paint in several layers, which can be changed individually. The Artist also has the ability to go back and forth as preferred, to rework on the project countless times, to correct, modify and add elements at will. This allows the Artist to overcome the constraints of the linear process of traditional Western painting. Digital painting is extremely flexible and the possibilities are endless.
